Description
The DiMarzio DP384 Chopper Telecaster Bridge Pickup is a louder, gutsier version of the Fast Track T. Power is focussed in the mids and low end for a bigger sound with more crunch. A departure somewhat from the traditional Tele bridge sound, the Chopper is less twangy and chunkier, which makes it ideal if you’re after a blues sound. It has the same side-by-side coils and twin-blade construction as the Fast Track T, so string alignment and magnet-pull are not an issue. And of course, there’s no hum. With 250K controls (standard on most Teles) it will produce a warm sound with less top end bite, whereas swapping in 500K controls will open up the high end up more and brighten up the lows.
