Description
In 2020, Ibanez released the EHB1000 as part of the Ibanez Bass Workshop line of solid-body electric basses. This new EHB design has a chambered body with a double-cutaway body shape and a prominent upper horn. Whether the player is sitting or standing, the chambered body maintains a similar playing position thanks to the slanted back.
The EHB1000 features a headless design with a chambered American basswood body bolted to a graphite-reinforced roasted maple and walnut neck with a roasted birdseye maple fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets, offset abalone dot position markers and luminescent side dots. Components include individual Monorail V HS bridges with adjustable string spacing, a pair of Bartolini BH2 passive pickups, a detachable finger ramp, a Vari-mid 3-band EQ with EQ bypass switch, a locking Neutrik output jack and Schaller S-Lock strap pins.
