Description
Introduced by Ibanez in 2004, the GWB35 is a five-string solid-body electric bass model designed as a signature instrument for renowned American jazz fusion bassist Gary Willis. Initially manufactured in South Korea, production transitioned to Indonesia in 2008. This bass features an SR series double-cutaway basswood body paired with a maple neck and fretless ebony fingerboard adorned with offset white dot position markers. Equipped with an SFR-GWB passive soapbar bass pickup and EQB-GWII preamp boasting a two-band EQ, along with a fixed bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a removable finger rest/ramp, a plastic nut, and Gotoh tuners featuring custom Sure Grip buttons.
